Lock Stock and Barrel Records (LSB) are a UK-based independent record label owned by Catherine Feeney, Nikki Lamborn and Terence Disdale ==Background== The label was set up in 2001, initially as a vehicle for Catherine and Nikki's own band Never The Bride, after shunning the major labels and choosing to self-release several successful albums. The first release, a collection of demos entitled While U Wait Vol. 1 and later moving on to Surprise and Licensed To Bitch selling direct to their diverse international fan base whilst retaining full artistic control over what they release. In September 2004 they recorded a concert at ULU, released as a CD album Live At ULU and a DVD For Richer For Poorer - Live And On The Road which also included revealing and often hilarious documentary footage from the European tour earlier the same year. In 2005, after hearing Never The Bride's recording of song The Living Tree, Welsh singing superstar Dame Shirley Bassey fell in love with it and Catherine and Nikki suggested that she record it. The single The Living Tree became a top 40 hit in UK Singles Chart, breaking chart records. LSB went on to record and produce Bassey's acclaimed album Get The Party Started and masterminded her memorable appearance at Glastonbury Festival in June 2007, which helped the album debut at number 6 in the UK Album Chart.
